Material and design

The scoop is moulded in ABS, which gives a stiff wall at a thin section, so the bowl keeps its shape when it is pushed through clumped litter. The handle is reinforced at the junction with the bowl, the point where cheaper scoops crack first, and the bowl is deep enough to carry a full clump without spilling. A double-hook detail lets the scoop hang on the rim of the litter box or on a hook, which is how most owners actually store it.

Colours, packing and range building

Five colours are standard: blue, rose, yellow, white and mint green. Because the tooling is shared, a range can be built by varying colour and packing rather than by developing new shapes — a boxed set, a poly-bagged single, or a mixed display.
