More about the Plush Cat Bed
What this bed is used for
This is a woven mat bed with a raised rim and a cushioned centre, built for cats and small dogs. Buyers typically place it as an everyday resting spot rather than a seasonal novelty: the flat mat construction keeps its shape on the floor, in a crate, or on a low shelf, and the raised rim gives animals something to lean against instead of sleeping flat. Because it packs down rather than holding a rigid frame, it also suits retailers who need a bed that ships and stores efficiently.
Materials and construction
The outer shell is Oxford fabric, chosen because it resists everyday abrasion and holds colour well after washing. The centre is filled with high-loft polyester, stitched into channels so the filling stays where it is placed instead of migrating to one end after a few weeks of use. Edges are bound rather than left raw, which is the part that usually fails first on cheaper beds. The cover is removable and machine-washable, so the bed can stay in a retail assortment without the buyer worrying about a product that looks worn after one season.
Sizes, colours and private-label options
Several standard sizes are produced, and dimensions can be adjusted to your drawing when a market needs a different footprint. Colours are matched to your reference sample or Pantone number, and the surface can be specified as woven or plush depending on the price point you are selling into. For private label we can add woven labels, printed care labels and hang tags, and pack into retail-ready cartons instead of plain export cartons. If you already have packaging artwork, send it with the enquiry and we will confirm what can be printed locally.
From sample to bulk order
Orders normally start from a drawing, a reference photo, or a sample you already sell. We confirm materials, dimensions, filling weight and packing, then produce a sample for physical approval before bulk begins; photos and short video are shared at each step so you are not approving from a single still image. Production then runs against the approved sample, which is also what the final inspection is measured against.
Quality checks before shipment
Incoming fabric, filling and thread are checked on arrival so a material problem is caught before it reaches the line. During production, random checks cover stitching, binding, filling distribution and overall shape. Before packing, finished cartons are audited against your specification for quantity, size, colour and label details. Anything that fails is separated and reported rather than quietly shipped.
Packing and export
Beds are packed in poly bags or export cartons to your specification, with compression packing available where container space matters more than carton volume. Cartons are marked for mixed SKU shipments when a buyer consolidates several items, and moisture protection is added for sea freight. We can ship against your forwarder's instructions or quote on a delivered basis for regular destinations in Southeast Asia, India and North America.
Buyer questions
- Can we change the size or the amount of filling? Yes — send the dimensions and the feel you want, and we will quote against that specification.
- Can our brand appear on the bed? Woven labels, printed care labels and hang tags are all possible; the exact placement is confirmed at sampling.
- What is the minimum order? It depends on the design, fabric and packaging, so it is confirmed per project rather than quoted as one number for every SKU.
- Can we see production before it ships? Yes — inspection photos and video are shared before the cartons are closed, and a third-party inspection can be arranged at your cost.
